How it Works

Medication assisted treatment, or MAT, is the use of medication to assist in an individual’s recovery process from opioid addiction. We use Buprenorphine/Naloxone tablets, also known as the brand name “Suboxone”, in conjunction with online support groups and connection to numerous recovery-oriented resources in order to break through the loneliness and hopelessness of addiction. There is support every step of the way.

Steps to Recovery with Us

  1. If you live in North Carolina, contact us to schedule an appointment with an intake coordinator. At this time, we will learn more about your history with addiction, your health status, and any other information our medical providers may need. We will also give you an opportunity to ask us any questions you have and identify any of your particular needs.

  2. Have your first online video medical provider visit. At this time, our medical provider will review your intake information and get to learn more about you. If it is deemed appropriate and safe, a prescription will be electronically prescribed to a pharmacy of your choice.

  3. Regular drug testing will occur via mail. All supplies will be delivered to you, allowing you to provide your urine sample and mail it back to us in complete privacy. Your monthly subscription fee will cover all mailing costs, you are still responsible for getting the sample in the hands of the post office in the discreet box we provide.

  4. Weekly online support groups with other people in our program will take place over video call. Here, you will be able to speak with other people in recovery and discuss your thoughts with our counselors. Each session will last one hour.
